How do I know my instructor is fully qualified?
A: A driving instructor must
display his or her Approved Driving Instructors badge in the windscreen of the
vehicle. A green badge shows that they are fully qualified; a pink badge means
that they are still training.
Q: Will I get a full hour of
tuition?
A: Yes, your instructor will
pick you up at the time you have arranged and you will have a full hour of
one-to-one tuition.
Q: Can I book a two-hour lesson?
A: Lessons are booked and
tuition costs quoted by the hour, but lessons lasting two hours can be
arranged. In many cases two-hour lessons are preferable and recommended. We
will call you to book your first lesson. Then, your instructor will ring to
discuss your particular needs and confirm the date and time with you.
After your first lesson, you should book all further tuition direct with your
instructor.
Q: Do lessons in the evening and
at weekends cost the same as in the daytime?
A: Yes.

Will I have to share my lesson or pick up the next pupil during my instruction?
A: No, You will receive personal, one-to-one
instruction.
Q: Can I get picked up and
dropped off at different addresses?
A: Yes, although it is best to
make these arrangements with your instructor before your lesson starts
depending on distance.
Q: How many lessons will I need?
A: There is no set number.
Driving Standards Agency research suggests that about 40 hours of professional
training plus additional practice will give you the best chance of passing. Your instructor will monitor your
progress and advise you when you're ready to apply for your test.
Q: Do you teach intensive
courses?
A: We don't pre-arrange test
dates, however if you have booked a test then an intensive course can be
arranged to suit.
Q: I'm really nervous about
learning to drive.
A: Don't worry if you're
feeling anxious about learning to drive. Our friendly instructors understand this and will
soon put you at ease.
Q: Do you offer refresher
lessons?
A: If you've already passed
your test and need to brush up on your skills, we can offer you a refresher
course.
Q: Can I learn to drive on an
international licence?
A: In certain circumstances you
are permitted to drive for one year before having to take the
